Cape Town Weather
Cape Town weather can be described as having a Mediterranean-like climate which enjoys mild and often wet winters that can be quite changeable and dry and settled summers which produce consistent sunny weather and warm temperatures. Due to its southernmost location, Cape Town does not suffer the oppressive heat that other parts of South Africa have and some rainfall is possible at any time of year. It is precisely this combination of climatic factors that produces the excellent wines that the Cape area is famous for.
