Eurostar luggage allowance
Passengers may carry up to two suitcases and one item of hand luggage. These must be clearly labelled with the passenger’s name, seat number, date of travel and destination. Additional luggage may be chargeable. Items such as bicycles are only considered as luggage if they are folded and carried in a bag otherwise they are carried as registered baggage and will be available at the destination 24 hours after it has been checked in. This service is not available from Ashford International.
Eurostar check-in times
Eurostar operates a strict minimum check-in time of 30 minutes. For passengers collecting tickets on departure, you are advised to arrive 1 hour prior to travel.
Eurostar buffet cars
Two non-smoking buffet cars serve a selection of hot and cold snacks and beverages. Please note that cheques and credit cards are not accepted. Payment can be made either in pounds sterling or euros.
Eurostar and onward travel
Eurostar tickets to Belgium are valid for travel onto any Belgian station, including Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp and is on the SNCB Belgian railway network. Trains to these destinations depart from the Brussels Gare du Midi. Please see our useful links page to check the timetables for these trains. Upgrades to first class travel on these trains is automatically included if you have purchased a Leisure Select (first class) Eurostar ticket.
