Weather in Grenoble - Heaven for winter sports lovers

Grenoble is likely to see chilly conditions during a winter short break especially during January and February. This is also peak season for the hordes of skiers and snowboarders who base themselves here and there is a virtual guarantee of good snow cover in the many high altitude resorts on its doorstep. This part of the Alps can be skied right up until the end of April and a fair amount of sunshine should be enjoyed late in the season.
