The Italian capital Rome is one the most visited cities in Europe, with ancient history written all over its architecture in spectacular style, and iconic, buildings such as the Pantheon and the Colosseum drawing visitors from across the globe. Alongside its unique history, the city is also home to a wealth of cultural venues and places of interest such as the National Museum of Rome and the Borghese Gallery, as well as the Vatican Museums in Vatican City. In addition, the vibrant contemporary culture and lively music scene make for an exciting and dynamic time away.
