Museum of Moroccan Arts – A palatial historic landmark
Also known as the Dar Si Said Museum, the Museum of Moroccan Arts is housed in a sumptuous former palace and fort, itself worthy of a visit for its elaborate tiled courtyards and attractive gardens. The museum is large and packed with a delightful collection of Moroccan art, furnishings and treasures dating back to medieval times. Many of its exhibition rooms open out onto inner courtyards featuring magnificent fountains and sculpture which perfectly complements a visit for Islamic history buffs.
