Old Timer Motorcycle Museum – The nostalgia and glamour of motorcycling
Situated in the sleepy village of Oudenburg and easily reached from central Bruges is the unique Old Timer Motorcycle Museum. Exhibits include 80 year old Alcyon and Cyclo-Tracteur bikes, iconic 1950s Lambretta and Vespa scooters and even a Triumph 500cc from 1914. The collection is primarily German, French, Italian and a few English models comprising off road bikes, racing bikes and even speedway motorcycles. The Old Timer Motorcycle Museum is located a short drive out of Bruges, in the grounds of the famous Biker’s Loft Motel. For biking obsessives this makes for the perfect stop over and offers a fun atmosphere with a busy biker-friendly bar, nightly entertainment and barbecues. It is an informal and friendly place that welcomes families and certainly guarantees a pretty unique hotel experience during Bruges weekend breaks. The museum and motel closes down for an annual winter break between December and February.
