Slovenia City Breaks

Roughly half the size of Switzerland and with a little over two million residents, Slovenia is a tiny country with a huge personality. Popular tourist spots here include the Gothic Maribor Castle and Renaissance-style Maribor Town Hall. For a fantastic relaxing break in Slovenia, Kranj lies 20km north-west of Ljubljana and boasts a picturesque medieval Old Town, an impressive 14^th century church and a mid-16th century castle. Kranj is a sedate, laid-back city and makes for an excellent stop off for anybody on a driving holiday around the country.
