It boasts a large bell tower, intricate gothic archways and a wonderful museum in the cloister housing a fantastic collection of rare medieval artworks. Each weekend sees a series of traditional Catalan folk dances in front of its main entrance.
Barcelona Aquarium
The largest of its kind in Europe, Barcelona Aquarium offers a feast of colour and exotic marine life that is incredibly entertaining and educational. Dozens of tanks contain everything from endangered coral, alligators, penguins, sharks and colourful tropical fish. It provides an interesting day out for kids of all ages and perfect for a rainy day.
