Banking hours in Naples are from 8.30am until 3.45 weekdays with a lunch break at 1pm. Most shops open from 10.30am - 8pm and close in the afternoon from 2pm - 4.30pm. Many businesses take annual holidays for two weeks in mid August and the city may seem a little quiet at this time of year.
