Buses
Convenient shuttle buses connect the city centre with Cardiff Bay. Virtually every Cardiff bus service operates from the central bus station, which is next to the central train station. Train
You are unlikely to use Cardiff trains unless you plan a trip out to coastal resorts or the Valleys. Virtually every train leaves from Cardiff Central station. One day passes are available that combine bus and train travel

Bicycles can be hired if you feel like exploring further afield or following marked routes like the Taff Trail.
Getting to Cardiff airport
Cardiff Airport is 12 miles west of Cardiff city centre. Regular shuttle buses to Cardiff airport run from the main train and bus station. Several other buses connect Cardiff town centre with Cardiff airport.
