Malaga Tourist Attractions
Malaga has the added benefit of an efficient and convenient hop on hop off tourist bus service which runs between all the significant sights and attractions all day long. Frequency is every 30 minutes and tickets, priced at €10 are valid for 24 hours. The most popular historic site in the city is the Alcazabar which is one of the best examples of a Moorish fortress left in Spain and makes for an altogether inspiring day out. It is open until 6pm daily and entrance is just €2.

Malaga Opening Hours
Banking facilities are available in Malaga from 9am - 2pm Monday to Friday with extended hours during summer months. Shopping is a real pleasure here and the city's department stores and shopping malls are usually open daily until around 9pm. Smaller independent shops are likely to take an extended lunch and siesta between the hours of 1.30pm and 5pm.

Malaga Tipping & Etiquette
Restaurant bills are unlikely to include a service charge so budget for around 10% for a gratuity although this is not obligatory. Hotel porters and taxi drivers will expect a small tip of around 1 - 3 euro’s which will very rarely, if ever be demanded. Queuing up in shops and banks can be a little chaotic at the best of times so a sense of humour and patience is certainly required. 

Food & Drink in Malaga
Malaga cuisine features a substantial variety of fish known as 'pescado frito' which may typically include fried hake, red mullet, tuna and a myriad of shellfish. Gazpacho and potato soups are likely to be a feature in tapas bars and restaurants and boast many variations. The hills around Malaga are home to the celebrated Antequera grape which produces one of Southern Spain's finest sweet wines. All manner of international cuisine can be sampled in Malaga with an eclectic mix of eateries covering everything from Middle Eastern, Oriental and South American.

Disabled Access in Malaga
Malaga is not the most accessible city in Spain for the disabled but eating out, shopping and sightseeing can still be performed with relative ease. There are a number of private minibus operators who provide adapted charter services throughout the city and to the Costa del Sol beach resorts and museums such as the house of Picasso offer dedicated access and assistance. Recent years have seen a rapid increase in the number of adapted hotel rooms available for wheelchair users.
